Our Mission

The purpose of Science4People e.V. is to promote the education and development opportunities of children and adolescents in war and crisis regions, particularly in Ukraine. Many children have experienced severe traumas, first through Covid-19 and especially through the war, and are struggling with learning difficulties.

Currently, we are focused on improving the situation in the regions where we are active and on providing children with an opportunity to catch up on missed educational opportunities through our projects.

We also aim to support those who are particularly interested, as well as promote sports and arts activities, which will provide a positive psychological balance for students, especially in the current stress-ridden war situation.

OUR TEAM

OUR TEAM

We, Science4People are an NGO that was founded by the Director at the Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics, Professor of Experimental Physics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, and Nobel Prize laureate in Physics (2023) Ferenc Krausz and members of his team shortly after the Russian invasion in 2022.

Highly qualified S4P volunteers support the association with their expertise. We are deeply committed to providing educational opportunities for the young generations in war-torn Ukraine, offering them hope and prospects for a better future.

OUR FIRST PATRONS

After the establishment of Science4People e.V., Ferenc Krausz also sought international support for our association. These Nobel laureates act as first patrons of S4P, helping to strengthen our organization and expand its reach. Their support is evidence of the recognition and appreciation of our work.
